I'm Mason Snell, the founder and lead consultant behind this evidence-based program, designed specifically for regular people like you who want to achieve and maintain a top-tier physique and performance without takin away from your career, family time, or passions. Working as a Clinical Pharmacist based in New Orleans, Louisiana, I know firsthand the challenges of balancing a demanding 9-5 job with maintaining all areas of health. Yet, I've sustained my own peak fitness, complete with strength training, intentional movement, and other hobbies like golf, travel, and weekend outings. This isn't about extreme sacrifices; it's about smart, sustainable strategies rooted in science, which I've distilled into the Peak Protocol's four pillars: Exercise/Intentional Movement, Diet/Hydration, Sleep/Recovery, and Balance/Mindset/Mental Health. Each pillar features progressive levels – Beginner for easy entry and consistency, Intermediate for building momentum, and Advanced for optimization – ensuring those just beginning their health journey start low to foster habits that stick, without being overwhelming
My journey to creating Peak Protocol stems from a blend of personal triumphs and professional expertise. As a competitive weightlifter, earning gold medals at Collegiate Nationals and U25 Nationals, honing my skills in high-performance training while pushing the limits of what the body can achieve. This hands-on experience, combined with several years of coaching athletes and everyday clients, taught me the value of tailored, realistic programs that deliver results. I'm a Level 1 CrossFit certified coach, which has equipped me with practical tools for functional fitness, but I go beyond that by grounding every recommendation in peer-reviewed literature. I have developed a workout protocol that allow for the most efficiently maximizes muscle gaining with scalable pieces to meet individual health and fitness goals. I critically analyze research to debunk myths and build protocols that work for real life, whether you're lifting heavy or incorporating lighter, hobby-based movement.
Adding to my credibility, I'm a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), giving me a deep understanding of health, healthcare systems, medications, and supplements. This expertise ensures that Peak Protocol's Diet/Hydration and Sleep pillars aren't just generic advice. They're informed by how nutrients, hydration, and rest interact with your body's pharmacology for optimal recovery and performance. Whether advising on supplement timing or lifestyle tweaks to enhance mental health, I leverage this knowledge to create safe, effective plans that integrate seamlessly into busy schedules.
